Cybill Shepherd’s son has been charged with stealing items from fellow aeroplane passengers during a cross-country flight.
According to the police, Cyrus Shepherd-oppenheim was arrested in Philadelphia after a United Airlines plane arrived from San Francisco. Police witnesses identified the 22-year-old as the man who allegedly stole cash, a digital camera, a leather makeup case and a small travel bag from two fellow passengers.
According to Cyrus’ lawyer, the charges are out of character. William Brennan claims, “He’s never been in trouble a day in his life. He’s a good kid. I think he’s a straight-A student and we’re anxious to see what the evidence says, if it says anything at all.”
At this point, Cybil hasn’t made a public statement.
