Courtney Love’s mother Linda Carroll has written a memoir revealing the extent of the rocker’s troubled childhood and teenage years. Linda says that Courtney started in therapy when she was six years old, was kicked out of every school she attended, and was sent to a treatment centre in oregon for children with severe behavioural problem when she was 12 years old. “Violent mood swings, troubles with attachment, terrible dreams, and a sense of persecution have plagued her all her life,” Linda notes.
