Rock chick Courtney Love is being sued by a jeweller who claims she failed to return more than $100,000 worth of jewellery. According to a lawsuit filed in New York, it’s alleged the singer borrowed two chains, a bracelet, and earrings all made of white gold and diamonds, from Jacobs & Co but only returned the bracelet. The firm claims an agreement with Courtney means she is responsible for the gems, regardless of loss or damage. Courtney (46), who is the widow of Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain, has already been involved in another court case this year regarding her sale of a portion of Nirvana’s publishing rights. However, that case was settled earlier this year.
