Courtney Love dating Uma Thurman

It’s hard to tell whether it’s for love or free room service, but Courtney Love has confirmed that she dating hotelier Andre Balazs, who famously romanced Hollywood babe Uma Thurman.

The troubled rocker tells fan, “I’m in lurve. It’s nice. Scary. I’m a great catch and he can be a bad boy but he loves me.” Courtney also gushes, “He is the sweetest thing and he actually totally does respect me. His manners are impeccable but he is funny too. He has properties everywhere and has given me the key to his apartment, but what is better than living in his hotel?”

Seems nothing can compare – Courtney has been living in a suite in the oercer Hotel in New York, which is also owned by Andre, for most of this year.

Meanwhile, Courtney’s daughter Frances Cobain was recently rumoured to be providing guest vocals on her friend Amanda Palmer’s new album. We can now confirm, however, that Frances is simply interested in the artistic side of Amanda’s CD. “She’s got a great voice,” says Amanda, “but she’s a really good visual artist. She’s really interested in graphic novels.”

Ex-Dresden Doll Amanda met Frances (17) through her then-fiancé Neil Gaiman, a graphic novelist. Since then, the two women have formed a strong friendship. “She’s really smart, level-headed, motivated and incredibly funny. She has her own really strong personal work ethic and she wants to find her own voice and make her own art. She’s going to do it by playing by her own rules.”
