A memoir by a former manager of Nirvana reveals Courtney Love was advised to have an abortion when she found out she was pregnant with daughter Frances Bean (now 15).
Doctors were concerned the singer’s heroin addiction would physically and psychologically damage the baby, but Courtney was outraged, insisting no-one had the right to tell her what to do.
Instead, she simply gave up the drugs for the duration of her pregnancy.
