Coro Street star Keith Duffy is about to wave goodbye to the familiar streets of Weatherfield. And as he pulls his final pint in the Rover’s Return in Britain he has a word of warning for co-star Nikki Sanderson who is quitting the show after boyfriend Danny Young was axed following rows with bosses over his under-age drinking.
“Enjoy your fame because it comes and goes, I should know,” says the former Boyzone singer. “It sounds like she’s leaving on a broken-heart level, which I don’t think is a good reason. If I was her I’d have hung around for a little while.”
