Kate Moss has agreed to give a “full and frank” confession and supply details of her dealer to avoid a 10-year prison sentence on supply and possession charges for cocaine. When she arrived back in the UK after months overseas the supermodel handed herself in to British police who wanted to talk to her about video footage and photographs showing her snorting the drug. Kate (32) had been globetrotting since photographs of her taking the drug with her ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty were published in a tabloid newspaper last September while she was in New York. Her travels include a stint at a rehab clinic in Arizona, a skiing holiday in Aspen, and a summer break at Sir Richard Branson’s Caribbean Island, Necker. A police spokesperson says, “I can confirm that a 32-year-old woman has voluntarily attended a London police office today in relation to a oetropolitan Police investigation into allegations of possible drug abuse as reported in newspaper reports. She has not been arrested.” [1 February 2006]
