Thank goodness she’s got her sensational supermodel looks to rely on – because Cindy Crawford has revealed that she’s terrified of cosmetic surgery.
While she’s undergone Botox and other anti-ageing treatments in the past, the 44-year-old insists anything more invasive is too terrifying to contemplate. “Plastic surgery is really scary,” says Cindy. “But as long as you don’t use these things to change your face, I think it’s okay.”
The sexy mother-of-two says she’s more comfortable in her own skin than ever – and this comes with age and a change in priorities. Cindy explains, “So much of your life you spend trying to prove yourself, trying to make things happen, trying to get somewhere else. But then you get in your late thirties and forties and realise life is pretty amazing right in front of you.”
However, if she does decide to turn back the clock in years to come, Cindy’s not going to get hung up about it. “When I was 30, I might have said, ,I’m going to age in a way that honours time and is completely natural.’ But I’m no longer so highbrow about it.”
