Chynna Phillips in rehab

Wilson Phillips singer Chynna Phillips has checked herself into a rehabilitation centre – but it isn’t for the usual celebrity transgressions of drugs, alcohol or sex addiction. Rather, the blonde beauty is receiving treatment for anxiety.

Chynna’s mental state was rocked last year when her half-sister, actress Mackenzie Phillips, publicly claimed that she had been a long-term, incestuous sexual relationship with their father, John Phillips of the oamas and the Papas fame.

While these claims shook Chynna to the core, she can take solace in the loving support of her friends and family. Her actor husband Billy Baldwin has spoken out to say he is dedicating himself to caring for their three children, Jameson (9), Vance (7) and Brooke (5).

Meanwhile, Chynna’s Wilson Phillips bandmate and best friend Carnie Wilson says, “She’s going to be fine. Anyone that goes into rehab needs help. She knows how much I love her. She’s my lifelong friend and my oldest friend. I wish her all the best in her recovery.” Asked if they will perform together anytime soon, Carnie confirmed, “We will.”
