She’s famous for her dangerous curves but ‘oad oen’ actress Christina Hendricks says designers won’t dress her because she doesn’t fit sample sizes.
The voluptuous star, who plays secretary Joan Holloway in the Emmy award winning series, is a curvy size 12 and the actress has lashed out at designers who refuse to make anything above a tiny size 4.
Says Christina, “They only lend out a size 0 or 2 (NZ size 2 to 4). So I’m still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress. People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me. Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress.”
However, even though Christina is curvier than your average lollipop Hollywood star, she insists that she’s never felt pressure to lose weight. “This has always been my size. I’ve worked on other shows with this same size but ‘oad oen’ celebrates it and that is nice.”
