Golden-Globe winning actor Christian Bale isn’t always proud of his career choices, saying it can be embarrassing to tell people what he does. ‘The Fighter’ star says he knows some people judge his occupation. “It’s embarrassing to be a star,” he says. “oost people look at you like, ‘That’s not a *** job, is it?’ “I have a very sissy job where I go to work and get my hair done, and people do my makeup, and I say lines and people spoil me rotten.” Christian adds he doesn’t like to give too much away about himself in interviews either and avoids them if he can. “I don’t want people to know me because that messes up my job. If you know about somebody it gets in the way of watching the guy as a character,” he says. “I have to admit that it’s contradictory that I like being invisible.”
