After staying silent and laying low for the past three months, Chris Brown has finally broken his silence about allegedly assaulting pop star Rihanna in February this year. Speaking in a short video, which he posted on YouTube.com, the 20-year-old R&B singer talks about his upcoming album, saying “We’re working on it right now. Called Graffiti. Got everything on it, know what I’m saying? I’ll be ready for that. I’m about to drop a single this summer for y’all. So we ain’t going nowhere.” Then, in reference to the huge backlash he faced after the assault charges were brought against him, he adds, “Everybody that’s haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love you all. I ain’t a monster.” With the court case currently stalled, Brown’s lawyer is seeking access to LAPD records to determine if there was police misconduct during the investigation. If found, the evidence could become grounds for dismissing the case. Meanwhile, Rihanna faced more controversy last week when nude pictures of her were leaked online.
