Pop star Cher has revealed she sometimes gets confused about what to call her son Chaz since his gender reassignment surgery. Chaz was formerly a girl named Chastity, but legally changed his name and gender earlier this year after undergoing a sex change procedure. Cher says she respects the way he has coped with the difficult experience. “If I woke up tomorrow in a guy’s body, I would just kick and scream and cry because I cannot see myself as anything but who I am – a girl,” says the ‘Turn Back Time’ singer. “I would not take it as well as Chaz has. I couldn’t imagine it. “She’s a very smart girl – boy! This is where I get into trouble. I still don’t remember to call her ‘him’.”
