Cher has begged her daughter Chastity Bono to reconsider having her sex change filmed for a reality TV series. Chastity already goes by the name Chaz, with friends and family considering her to already be a man, and has be inundated with television offers since announcing her planned sex change. Close sources say she’s close to signing a deal, but her mother is anxious a reality series will be overly intrusive on their family life. our spy tells, “Chaz has been fielding offers from reality show producers who want to show her sex change on camera. After appearing on [the US series] Celebrity Fit Club, Chaz learned the ropes of reality TV. But Cher was shocked that Chaz even considered documenting her life, let alone her sex change on camera. Cher treasures her privacy.” Meanwhile, insiders add that Chastity, who plans to marry her partner Jennifer Elia after the gender reassignment, will have a gastric bypass before the operation in order to lose weight and make sure the surgery goes smoothly.
