Former child star Brooke Shields is not encouraging her own children to follow in her footsteps while they are still young. The actress, who started out at the age of 12 in film ‘Pretty Baby’, has two daughters – Rowan (7) and Grier (4). “I would never start them as young as I did,” says Brooke. “For a start, my life isn’t conducive to that. Selfishly, I wouldn’t give up on my career to work on theirs.” Brooke adds that she would be happy for her girls to become actors, but not until they have graduated from school.
