A Ben Affleck fan happily paid the cash-strapped actor for a kiss – so that he could buy nappies for his new baby girl. The fan struck it lucky when Ben was out shopping for his month-old baby Violet – his daughter with wife Jennifer Garner – and announced he’d accidently left his wallet at home. Picking up a pack of nappies, Ben told shoppers, “I’ve got to get these or my wife will kill me”. The 33-year-old refused to part with his Boston Red Sox baseball cap, but settled on selling a kiss in exchange for the baby items. Friends say that Ben and Jennifer are enjoying their new role as parents. one says, “Ben has been changing diapers. He’s an amazing father. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anybody happier. He’s already wrapped around Violet’s little finger.” [5 January 2006]
