Brittany Murphy is the new Michael Jackson

They both died of heart attacks at a relatively young age, reportedly after overdosing on painkillers. And as we’re typing this up, Brittany ourphy’s body is being prepared for burial at the same Los Angeles cemetery where Michael Jackson’s body lies. Now it seems the late actress will, like Michael, have previously recorded songs released posthumously.

Brittany made her first appearance on the music charts in 2006 with her and DJ Paul Makenfold’s dance track ‘Faster Kill  Pussycat’. She also recorded covers of Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love’ and Earth Wind and Fire’s ‘Boogie Wonderland’ for the animated flick ‘Happy Feet’.

But now industry insiders have revealed that they have started to dig for any unreleased songs that Brittany may have recorded over the years. one record executive reports, “obviously, this isn’t a Michael Jackson thing, but people are definitely interested in Brittany and her story. Depending on what she may have recorded and what kind of quality it is, she could end up having a hit song or two.”

Brittany’s musical aspirations date back to the early ’90s, when she fronted a band called Blessed Soul with ‘Six Feet Under’ actor Eric Balfour. Eric has said of Brittany’s tragic death, “Everyone’s devastated. Everyone’s in shock. It’s a tragedy. Life is fragile.”
