Britney Spears might be chuffed to know that an official invitation to her 2004 wedding to Kevin Federline fetched $3400 on auction website eBay. An internet gaming company, Goldenpalace, purchased the invitation, which also comes with a candle from the reception. The invitation is the latest addition to Goldenpalace’s growing collection of bizarre Britney Spears memorabilia, which includes the star’s home pregnancy test, a pacifier used by Britney and her younger sister Jamie Lynn, as well as a half-full bottle of water left in the hospital by the pop star after she gave birth to her son, Sean Preston. A female guest who is “related to the groom’s family” was cited as the seller of the invitation. [12 June 2006]
