In a move that echoes the baby-naming rites of Victoria `Posh Spice’ Beckham and her soccer star husband David, Britney Spears is rumoured to want to name her child after the place in which her romance was conceived. As the singer started her romance with Kevin Federline while in London last year, that’s what she reportedly wants to call her child. Britney claims she does not know the sex of the baby but is rumoured to be expecting a boy. Asked about possible names Britney said: “London Preston. Isn’t London pretty? And for a girl I love Addison Shye. I think that’s pretty.” The baby is due later this month. Meanwhile the star has slammed reports she is retiring from the music industry to be a full-time mother to her unborn child, insisting she will release an album by 2007 at the latest.
