Britney Spears has quit Kabbalah – because they continuously hassled her for money. The Toxic' singer admitted on her website that she preferred motherhood to the trendy religion, introduced to her by one-time mentor Madonna. "I no longer study Kabbalah. My baby is my religion", she recently wrote. However a friend reckons that her split from the offshoot of Jewish mysticism had more to do with money than motherhood. "She's tired of the way Kabbalah leaders kept hassling her for cash," the source says. "Actually, it was mostly her mother's decision. They were always asking Britney to tithe [donate a percentage of her salary].
