Photographs taken of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s recent baby shower have been returned to the couple after police in California arrested a suspect. Apparently the thief was trying to sell the digital memory card from the pair’s camera, which contained pictures of the couple’s party in Namibia just before the birth of their daughter Shiloh Nouvel last month. Angelina and Brad had threatened to sue and prosecute any publication that published the pictures, rendering them worthless to magazines and newspapers. [5 July 2006]
