Popstar Beyoncé is preparing to play the role of soul singer Etta James in a new movie called Cadillac Records. To research the part of Etta, who was a heroin addict during the 1970s, Beyoncé visited a rehabilitation centre and was brought to tears by speaking to six African American women who were recovering drug addicts. The stunning star told Hello magazine, “I said, ‘I have to do this movie’ e but I was terrified. I never tried drugs in my life so I didn’t know about it all. It was hard to go to rehab. I learned a lot about life and myself.”
