Leading man Ben Affleck admits he is already worrying about what gifts to get for his wife Jennifer Garner, and will try to avoid shopping if he can. ‘The Town’ actor says he puts off choosing presents for Jennifer, with whom he has two children, Violet (4) and Seraphina (1). “I spend the whole time fretting and being nervous and hoping she likes it,” says Ben, who adds that Jennifer is the one who buys for their friends and family. “I’m not particularly proud of it. But it’s a bit of a 1950s thing, I guess. My wife is so capable and because I’m less so, she does a lot of that work, and I kind of root her on. I’m encouraging. It takes her as much energy and effort to buy the 20 gifts we’re going to buy other people, as it does for me to buy her one gift.”
