Soccer star David Beckham and his fashion designer wife Victoria have given birth to their fourth child, a baby girl named Harper Seven Beckham.
on his Facebook page David wrote,”Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx”and added that baby Harper weighs 3.46kg (7lb 10oz). It is thought Seven is a reference to David’s England football number.
The little girl was born the morning after Beckham scored directly from a corner kick to give the Los Angeles Galaxy a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire, extending his team’s oajor League Soccer unbeaten streak to 12 matches.
The Beckhams received well wishes from Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge at an intimate reception held for the royal couple at British Consul-General Barbara Hay’s Los Angeles residence last Friday. “Victoria really wanted to come but she is just so tired at the moment. She sent you both lots of love,” David told them.
“Don’t be silly,” William replied. “Please send her all out love and tell her good luck with it all.”
