Anna Nicole’s son: Fatal drug cocktail

Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son Daniel died from a lethal combination of drugs, according to a pathologist. Daniel suffered a cardiac dysrhythmia – an abnormal heart rate – caused by the mix of oethadone, Zoloft and Lexapro found in his body. He had been visiting his mother in the Bahamas three days after she gave birth to a baby girl named Danilynne Hope. Daniel was seen tending to his mother in the hospital room around 6:20am on the morning of September 10 but at 9:38 a.m. Anna Nicole woke up to find her son unresponsive. Doctors were immediately summoned and tried for 22 minutes to revive Daniel without success. He was pronounced dead at 10:05 a.m. A spokesperson for Anna Nicole describes her as “overwhelmed” by grief. “She’s trying to come to grips with the depths of her despair,” he says.
