She may have announced she’s quitting Hollywood to focus on her kids, but the lure of moving into the director’s chair has proved too enticing for Angelina Jolie.
The mother of six has revealed she will be directing and producing her own script following a love story in the Serbian War. According to a spokesperson, “The film focuses on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship.” As for the acting talent, Angelina will look beyond Hollywood for people from “various ethnicities from the region of the former Yugoslavia.”
Perhaps the change of heart comes after Ange realized the realities of being a stay-at-home mum. The ‘Salt’ actress admits she doesn’t find it easy preparing food for six hungry mouths every day. “The problem with my packed lunches is everybody is very, very outspoken about what they want. I often say, ‘I’m not a waitress!'” says the sultry star.
Still, Ange confirms she is definitely not a pushover when it comes to parenting. “I am not as sweet as sugar, as I thought I’d be as a mum. I can be strict but not gratuitous. our kids need to understand the sense behind it. First of all I see myself as their friend.”
