oust working mums put safety for themselves and their children above all else, but Angelina Jolie is not your regular mum. In fact, the superstar actress says her kids motivate her to do even more daring action stunts in movies!
The mother-of-six says, “The funny thing about having children is that now I am twice as motivated to do a cool stunt because my kids will like it.”
Ange’s new action movie ‘Salt’ hits theatres in July. She plays a CIA agent on the run in the film, which began shooting only eight months after the actress gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne.
The new arrivals encouraged Ange to push herself. She admits, “I had just had two babies and the push to be physically strong was very welcome at the time.”
Director Phillip Noyce wasn’t thrilled at the prospect of the new mum performing her own stunts, one of which included being hoisted up 10 stories in the air, however, Ange wouldn’t be dissuaded. Phillip says, “She doesn’t have to do it. But she has absolutely no fear. Usually when an actor becomes more and more successful, they play it safe.”
Perhaps more dangerous is Ange’s plans to star again with her partner and ‘or & ors Smith’ co-star Brad Pitt. “He’s my favorite actor to work with. The only complicated thing is to find the right project.”
