Amy Winehouse has been seen strolling hand in hand with a new man, ending speculation that she will reunite with her ex-husband.
The troubled singer divorced her husband of two years, Blake Fielder-Civil, in 2009 after the pair struggled with drug addictions and Blake went to jail. Since he got out of the slammer, there was concern that the now-clean Amy would rekindle her relationship with Blake – and drugs – but it seems the ‘Back in Black’ singer has moved on for good.
Amy’s father oitch confirmed the split, and her new relationship with film director Reg Traviss. “I’m happy she’s got a new boyfriend. I’m happy she’s moving on with her life,” says oitch. “He’s a normal bloke, very nice.”
Amy and Reg were spotted out in London last week sharing a romantic meal and a drink at the pub before returning to Amy’s home to have a passionate kiss on the steps outside.
“Amy really likes him,” says a pal. “They’ve been seeing each other for a good few weeks now. He’s a decent bloke with his feet firmly on the ground. He’s cultured and talented and they talk and laugh about all sorts. And they are openly affectionate in front of friends and family now too.”
