oama oia! actress Amanda Seyfried – who has previously dated Dominic Cooper and Ryan Phillippe – is happy being single at the moment and having some time to herself because she’s always had long-term boyfriends.
“Although I think it’s easier to be in a relationship than be single, I just don’t know if I have the energy at the moment. In the past, whenever a relationship of mine ended, my friends would tell me to be single for a while – that it would be good for me” She says.
“You don’t have to check in with anybody except your mother, and there’s all this freedom. You realise how many pressures come from being with someone.”
However, Amanda is open to meeting guys and insists she would happily date a man who isn’t famous.
Talking about the pressures of being one half of a high-profile couple, Amanda says: “Dominic and I were together for such a long time so the coverage was always positive but when you’ve just started seeing someone and that person is really famous, it’s more of a story. When I was with Ryan, people followed me so much more, and that’s probably one of the reasons I’m not looking to date someone who’s famous now.”
