All Saints have been dropped by their record label after their latest album failed to top the charts. The band – comprised of Mel Blatt, Nicole and Natalie Appleton and Shaznay Lewis – recently reformed, but it seems they failed to convert the buzz over their comeback single Rock Steady' into actual album sales. on the first week of release, the critically acclaimed album 'Studio 1' only made it to No 40 on the UK charts before dropping further the following week, and their latest tune 'Chick Fit' was only released as a download and failed to make the Top 200. A spokesperson says, "Both the label and the group are proud of the album
Studio 1′. All Saints are excited about moving forward with their career and Parlophone wishes them the best of luck.” [7 March 2007]
