Life certainly is complicated for Alec Baldwin. The ‘It’s Complicated’ actor was mysteriously rushed to a New York hospital earlier this week, only to be released an hour later. Initial reports suggested the 51-year-old’s daughter Ireland (14) found her father unconscious and rang emergency services. There was a suggestion he’d overdosed on sleeping pills after a heated argument. However, Alec’s rep says no drugs (or alcohol) were involved in the incident.
The spokesperson tells, “This was a misunderstanding on one person’s part. Alec was quicklyreleased from the hospital. He’s completely fine and will be at work today.” The ’30 Rock’ star’s rep adds, “If there was a real problem, he wouldn’t have been released within an hour.”
Alec is due to co-host the oscars with his ‘It’s Complicated’ co-star Steve Martin on 7 March.
