Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have apparently given an African chief the honour of picking a name for their first child. Namibian Governor Samuel Nuuyoma made an announcement that the couple offered him the chance to think of a name for the baby over dinner soon after arriving in his district Erongo. He says, “When she goes to the hospital, as the father of the region, I will be informed and I will go there. I will announce the good news and I will be naming the baby.” Samuel wouldn’t comment on possible name choices for the baby, which is due any day now. But he did describes Brad and Angelina as “good people, peace-minded and ready to help”. [25 oay 2006]
