This could be bad news for her Kiwi fans.
Adele plans to quit touring to raise her son

Adele might be smack in the middle of a 107-date sold out arena tour, but if you haven’t managed to get tickets to see her this time around, you might have missed your chance – at least for the next 10 years or so.

The 28-year-old megastar is reportedly planning on taking time out from touring, after her Adele Live 2016 tour wraps up in November, so she can bring up her son, Angelo.

Friends of the star say she is planning a move to the US, and intends on becoming a full-time mum.

A source told The Sun:

“Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life.

She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won’t be able to join her any more.

Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him.”

The Sun claims the superstar might consider a Las Vegas residency, which would allow her to stay in one place and could prove to be very lucrative.

Artists such as Elton John, Celine Dion and Rob Stewart earn as much as £385,000 (NZ$697,000) per show in the city, while Britney Spears has renewed her critically acclaimed Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas until 2017 while bringing up two sons.

The superstar is currently at the mid-point of this tour and has reported grossed £57million ($101,995,892) from ticket sales alone.

During a recent show in Philadelphia, the singer admitted to fans she found life on the road hard to handle at times.

“I don’t know how many of you know this but I don’t really consider myself to be much of a touring artist. I’ve never gelled very well with touring as I’m a real homebody.”
