Adam Sandler has become a dad for the first time following the birth of a baby girl to his wife, Jackie. The yet-to-be-named baby was born on Sunday in Los Angeles. Adam first met Jackie on the set of his film, `Big Daddy’, where she had a brief role as a waitress taking an order. The couple tied the knot in a traditional Jewish ceremony in 2003. A statement about the birth on the comic actor’s website reads, “Kid is healthy! Wife is healthy! He’s still a moron, and that’s all that counts!” [9 oay 2006]
