Celebrity couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake were left red-faced during an African charity tour because the locals didn’t know who they were. The `Cry oe A River’ singer reveals that when he and Cameron visited a tiny Tanzanian village and saw the locals celebrating, they mistakenly assumed it was a welcome party for them. Justin admits, “We weren’t sure why the people were celebrating. First we thought it was because they recognised us, but we found out they didn’t have a clue who we were. They were celebrating because they finally had a well with drinking water.” He adds, “There are some places where being famous doesn’t mean anything! It was a very humbling experience.” [10 August 2006]
