Singer Natasha Bedingfield has started the new year with a new baby!
The 36-year-old has given birth to a baby boy, her first child with husband Matthew Robinson.
Bedingfield shared the news by posting a picture of her lying in a hospital bed and holding a Starbucks cup with the word “Mum” on it.
The ‘Unwritten’ singer has strong ties to New Zealand. Her mum Molly was born and raised in Raglan and she regularly visits New Zealand. She joined her brother Daniel Bedingfield as a guest judge on the New Zealand version of X-Factor in 2013.

She announced she was expecting her first child back in October.
“Matt and I are thrilled to share with you all that we are bringing a new little life into the world!” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her baby bump. “We can’t wait to embark on this amazing journey together.”
The couple have been married since 2009.
