Congratulations to Lauren Conrad and her partner William Tell who have become first-time parents.
The Hills star announced at the beginning of this year that she was expecting her first child with her husband. She posted a photo of her baby scan and captioned the picture: “Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…”
Lauren and William have been together since 2012 and two years later the happy couple tied the knot.
Now, the 31-year-old actress has revealed she welcomed her baby boy into the world on Instagram. She posted a cross-stitch of her family – herself, William, their baby and their two dogs – and wrote alongside the adorable snap: “He’s here! We’re so excited to welcome Liam James Tell into the world!”
On her website Lauren revealed the little tot arrived on July 5, weighing “6 pounds, 14 ounces and 20 inches long”.
Thousands of people rushed to congratulate the American star, with one person writing: “That is a wonderful name! Congratulations to you and William!”
Someone else commented: “Such beautiful news! Congratulations to you and your Husband on this joyous news! And what a perfect name Liam! Just lovely.”
Another said: “Finally a celebrity that gave their child a normal name.”
A fourth added: “Aw congratulations Lauren! What a gorgeous name and such a cute announcement! Hope you are enjoying the first few days of being 5! Xx”
“Congratulations!! Wishing you all the luck in the world together as a new family,” said one more.
Lauren and William have been married since 2014.
Lauren has previously gushed about her relationship and said: “My favourite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with.
“Dreaming of the things we will do in 20 years from now is so fun.”

Shortly after Lauren announced she was pregnant her former co-stars Whitney Port and Heidi Montage revealed they are both expecting too.
