For many people, telling your partner you’re pregnant is a happy moment, but for Courtney Hill it was heartbreaking. She whispered the words to her husband’s lifeless body at his wake.
She and husband Brian had been trying for another baby, but he was tragically killed in a truck accident on February 2.
On the morning of his wake, Courtney took a pregnancy test and it was positive. The baby would be joining their toddler daughter, Reagan.
Not long after finding our she was pregnant, Courtney had a miscarriage scare and she was rushed to hospital. While there, she received more shocking news.

“We were frightened that she was losing the baby,” her father, Oscar Blomgren, told CBS2 Chicago.
Instead, his daughter told him there was good news after the family’s string of heartbreak. During her hospital visit, Courtney learned she is actually pregnant with triplets.
She said she’s “excited to have three more smiles that remind me of [my husband]”.
Her sister Amanda has set up a GoFundMe donation page which has already raised NZ$25,000.
