One dad has managed to completely confuse his young son, after shaving the beard he’d been growing for 200 days.
Jimmy Bartel is an AFL star in Australia, and earlier this year made the commitment not to shave for 200 days to raise awareness of family violence, something he experienced first hand as a kid.
But this week, the footie player finally shaved, raising thousands of dollars for charity in the process.
His great work has been applauded by fans – but the change left his biggest fan utterly confused.
Bartel’s son, 11-month-old Aston, couldn’t quite figure out what was going on when he saw his clean-shaven dad for the first time.
His mum Nadia posted the cute moment on her Instagram page, where Bartel can be seen saying “It’s me, daddy!”

The star wasn’t surprised by the reaction though – the day before the shave he’d posted a photo to social media saying how he hoped Aston would know who he was!
