Two-year-old twins Bowdy and Brock Shoff were playing in their bedroom in their Utah home when a chest of drawers fell and trapped Brock.
Their father posted a remarkable video of Bowdy saving his brother’s life after he was nearly crushed.
Ricky Shoff posted the video to his Facebook page to warn other parents. He and his wife didn’t even know the incident had happened until they reviewed surveillance footage of the boys’ nursery.
“I’ve been a little hesitant to post this,” Mr Shoff wrote.
“But I feel it’s not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible.”
The video shows the twins attempting to climb up the chest of drawers when it topples over and falls, crushing Brock underneath it.
Bowdy looks for ways to move the furniture off his brother and eventually pushes the drawers off Brock, who rolls out and stands up.
Watch the heart-stopping moment below:
“We are so grateful for the bond that these twins brother share,” Mr Shoff said in his post.
“We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And we feel blessed that he is ok.
“Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall. Please share.”
The boys were taken to hospital, but received a clean bill of health.
