When Sean and Jean wanted to tell their family they were expecting a child, they didn’t want to just blurt it out.
So instead, they saved the news for the grandad-to-be’s birthday, handing him a boxed teddy bear for the occasion.
Taking the bear out of the packaging, the bemused grandfather squeezes the his paw, only to be greeted with a personal message.
“Happy birthday grandpa, I’ll see you in October.”
While at first he doesn’t seem to get the meaning behind the message, after a second listen his face drops and he’s speechless as he processes the news.
“You’re gonna be a grandpa,” Sean confirms as his father wells up with tears.
Isn’t that just the cutest?
