Just like her character on the TV show Nothing Trivial, Debbie Newby-Ward is settling into her role as a new mother.
The 35-year-old actress had to balance her son Zeppelin’s needs with her duties as one of the stars of the hit TV One program, which airs its much-anticipated finale episode on August 3 at 8.30pm.
The telefeature is set to provide closure for the show’s fans, who were left agonising over a cliffhanger ending to the previous episode.
However, in order to bring that story to life, Debbie had to juggle 13-hour shooting days with caring for her adorable 8-month-old boy. Running off to feed him regularly wasn’t always the easiest, but Debbie made it work with the support of her cast, crew and family.
The Nothing Trivial gang are set to grace our screens for the last time this Sunday, and Debbie can’t wait for fans to enjoy the final instalment of the beloved Kiwi drama.
