A mum who breast fed midway through her wedding has gone viral – after a photo was shared of her attending to her child during the ceremony.
Canadian mum Christina Torina-Breton heard her baby daughter crying during her wedding ceremony, and so decided to calm her down the way only a mum can.
As she took a seat to give her daughter a quick feed, the wedding photographer captured the beautiful moment on camera.
Christina shared the moment on the Facebook support page: Breastfeeding Mama Talk, and the post quickly went viral.
“That moment when you’re getting married and your baby gets hungry. Feeling SO proud of myself! Fighting that good fight!” wrote Christina next to the photo.
The mum told the Huffington Post that she breastfeeds in front of all of her friends and family, so people at the ceremony were unsurprised when she started to nurse.
She added that she’s had nothing but “positive vibes” from the public about the image.
