A couple from Minnesota, USA, were left devastated after their carefully crafted baby reveal did not go quite to plan.

Joe and Leela Krummel gathered their friends and family together to reveal the sex of their baby – using a box and some coloured balloons.
But sadly, a mix up at the balloon shop meant that rather than the traditional pink or blue balloons emerging to signify a boy or girl – multi-coloured balloons flew out instead.
The disappointed couple can be seen looking bemused at the discovery of the balloons, as their guests laugh on through the clip.
But despite the initial cock up – a later clip shows the couple do manage to reveal the sex of their baby successfully – using an assortment of blue balloons.
“Before opening the box we were nervous because the store didn’t seem to understand the concept of blue for boy, pink for girl, but they reassured us it would be done properly.
“But when we saw the multi-coloured balloons we were so disappointed, not only because 30 people were staring at us in confusion but because we couldn’t find the card in the bottom that had the gender written on it.”
