A 24-year-old woman has died after falling into a vat of melted chocolate.

Svetlana Roslina, who worked at a confectionary factory 100km outside of Moscow, reportedly fell into a vat of chocolate when she was trying to retrieve her cell phone.

However other accounts say she fell while pouring flour into the mixer, with one witness telling Britain’s Daily Telegraph that: “The girl was dragged in when she was trying to empty a sack.”

The 24-year-old Russian became trapped in the vat, before being pulled into the plant’s machinery, where she was crushed to death.

A witness who lives in the area said a hearse and police cars arrived at the factory, which is in the village of Fedortsovo, on the day of the accident.

She leaves behind a husband, Vladimir, and two young children.
