Photographed in the cosmetics aisle of the supermarket by Hannah Nicole Kent, the couple can be seen crouching down as they look at something out of view.
According to Love What Matters, the husband was helping his wife choose a product that matched her skin tone – something that most men wouldn’t be caught dead getting involved with.
“She was so concerned about finding the right one and he was so unbelievably helpful,” the picture caption reads.
“She was having a ‘girl’ moment, in a panic struggling to find the right one. He calmed her down, helped her find her color and kissed her on the forehead.
“It was such a simple way to show how big his love was for her. A perfect reminder that our bodies grow old but our love doesn’t have to.”
The post has received a quarter of a million likes in just seven hours, after it was dropped on the Love What Matters Facebook site today.
One Facebook user wrote: “Most men do not want to go shopping at all. And to go for a girly thing and be supportive and helpful OMG! I do not know this man but I love him. His wife is one lucky lady.”
While another said: “Sometimes that’s all a girl needs… Wish younger men understood what that does for us in a moment like that…. God bless them!”

What was most heart-warming however, was the number of married people commenting on the photo, saying that they experienced the same kind of love in their relationships.
One lady wrote: “That’s my Joe, very helpful and patient whenever I need his opinion. We just had our 50th and with God’s blessing will have many more.”
