One of the Spice Girls’ most well-known singles has been rebooted with an empowering new video – and Victoria Beckham is a fan!

Posh Spice herself shared the video – which has since gone viral, racking up over 15 million views – on her Facebook page yesterday, writing: “20 years on – Girl Power being used to empower a new generation. I’m so proud of The Global Goals ‪#‎WhatIReallyReallyWant‬”.

The clip, which shows female performers from India, Canada, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom lip-syncing along and dancing their hearts out, also draws attention to major issues affecting women around the world, from equal access to quality education, to ending violence against women.

The video has been released as part of Project Everyone’s #WhatIReallyReallyWant campaign, which is urging everyone to stand up for women’s rights using social media and other platforms.

The campaign is also part of a larger initiative focused on achieving the United Nation’s Global Goals, a series of targets for sustainable development that include ending extreme poverty, fighting inequality and injustice and tackling the issue of climate change.

“I think this film is a wonderful idea,” Victoria told Time. “How fabulous is it that after 20 years, the legacy of the Spice Girls’ – ‘Girl Power’ is being used to encourage and empower a whole new generation.”

The filmmakers behind the clip hope to present the responses to the video during the UN General Assembly in September.
