Mum, daughters stabbed in France for skimpy clothing

The girls were aged between eight and 14.

A mother and her three daughters have been stabbed while holidaying in France because they were too “scantily dressed”.

The French woman, 46, and her daughters, aged eight to 14, were reportedly attacked in the village of Garda-Colombe near Montpellier in the south of France, where they were reportedly visiting.

It is not known what they were wearing, but France is currently experiencing a heat wave, and local reports claim the attacker was heard complaining the mum and daughters were too “lightly dressed”.

The alleged attacker fled after the stabbing but was later caught by police.

He has been identified by French media as Mohamed Boufarkouch, who was born in Morocco.

The victims are in hospital, with the mother and youngest daughter suffering the worst injuries. The mother has damage to her sternum, while the eight-year-old girl is in a critical condition with a punctured lung.
