South Africa-born Candice met business owner Gerrad at her chief bridesmaid’s own engagement party, when Gerrad, a friend of the groom, crashed the event after his invite went astray!
The couple were married exactly three years on in Cambridge, with the wedding party sporting gorgeous lavender bouquets and buttonholes made by physiotherapist Candice.
The newlyweds’ first dance, to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, was choreographed by some ex-ballroom dancer friends – and Gerrad’s niece thought it was the perfect time to take a nap on the dance floor!
Candace and Gerrad met when the groom crashed a party that the bridge was in attendance.
