A woman from Florida has spoken out after a random stranger told her she needed to buy a sports bra.

Michelle Kirk is currently training for the New York marathon.

On one of these training occasions, the 28-year-old mum was stopped by an older gentleman, who told her “your boobs are sagging.”

“They’re already heading south,” he told her. “I don’t think you want that.”

The man had actively blocked Michelle’s path in order to tell her what he thought, though Michelle could not return the favour as she had her young daughter with her.

Sports bras are an essential bit of kit for runners

Michelle decided to share her experience on a Facebook group called A Year of Running, and she certainly hasn’t held back.

“To the nasty old man who stopped me mid run to inform me that I need to get a better sports bra because my boobs are sagging and will only sag more if I continue to run…fuck you,” she wrote.

“You are the reason why women have insecurities. If you don’t like the way my boobs ‘sag’ when I run, then don’t look! I will NEVER stop doing what I love and I love myself way too much to have your hate bring me down!”

Dozens of Facebook users rushed to support the Florida mum, saying if people don’t have anything nice to say, they shouldn’t say it at all.
